The Movie: "Food, Inc."

If you haven't seen this movie yet, I highly recommend it.  Whether some of the details in the movie may be difficult to verify as correct, it would behoove you to do a little research for yourself and really try and find out where you're food really does come from.  This movie is an interesting documentary that explores some of the food industry's harmful effects on our environment.

After all, how bad can it really be to support our local farmers?  How bad can it be to have alliances with some groups such as Slow Food USA and The Center for Food Safety?  Check it out for yourselves!!

To start, Slow Food USA, is a movement that's goal is to provide an amazing commitment to giving our community and the environment a voice that is much needed.  Nutritious foods that are both locally grown and sustainable vastly improves our health as well as our environment.
The Center for Food Safety, is a look into genetically modified foods and how harmful they are to our own well being and environment.  The CFS is an organization that is in defense of organic and sustainable agriculture...Check out the websites for yourselves to be better informed. Pretty astounding information!
