Weighing down productivity: the costs of fat

There is such a "buzz" in the news now-a-days on obesity, how it affects work productivity, overall health and diminished life expectancy. It is hard not to be aware and yet, at the same time, it is up to us to read and learn as much as we can to make a difference in our own lives by eating nutritious meals, taking care of ourselves and our children. In the latest Time Magazine dated October 25, 2010 data found that $73 Billion dollars is the yearly loss in productivity and health costs due to obesity among full-time U.S. Employees.
There is not one clear-cut answer to how to deal with this "colossal" health issue, but there are ways to improve our work, play and home lifestyles through making positive changes in our everyday routines. Read on....
