Trader Joe's Salad Recall

I heard about the Trader Joe's recall on several products this morning on Fox 5 News and thought it should be shared. First off, all of these products contain cilantro as the main culprit: Spicy Thai Style Pasta, Cilantro Dressing, Spicy Peanut Vinaigrette and a Cilantro Pecan Dip.

This is a warning to be careful to watch for expiration dates and even check to see if the food looks right, i.e., smells good and looks fresh.

Salmonella Poisoning can generally begin within eight to 72 hours after consuming food that is contaminated with the bacteria.

Salmonella food poisoning can include of diarrhea accompanied by severe abdominal pain and abdominal cramps.
