Eating like an Olympian

We can at least make it a habit to eat more like an Olympian by eating enough calories that are full of nutrients.
The information provided in this website says, "Eating a healthy diet sufficient in nutrients and with enough calories to fuel competition and training is an important component of all athlete’s training plans and just may be the deciding factor in that tenth of a second that distinguishes gold from silver".
Think back to a day that you performed very well at your job or school or whatever you do -- did you start your day off with a jelly donut or was it a more like fresh fruit and oatmeal?
